Process

My work is created by first lightly sketching the image with a graphite drawing pencil. When that is done, I then begin using my pens.

I use Zig Millennium pens. The Zig pens use an acid free, archival quality, light fast, fade proof, pigment ink. The Zig pens come in a nice variety of tips. This gives me much greater versatility in creating my artwork. The paper is a white crane, also acid free.

The work is created by carefully making a series of small dots. This process is known as stippling or pointillism. The technique is very time consuming, but it gives me great pleasure in doing it; and I hope you enjoy the results.
